About the role

We are seeking to employ an Operations Manager to lead the administration and strategic development of physical security services across client sites in Lagos. This role involves designing security systems, evaluating security protocols, managing equipment maintenance, and overseeing the recruitment and deployment of security personnel. The ideal candidate will balance operational excellence with strategic business development, building networks that generate new opportunities while ensuring the highest standards of professional security service delivery. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for physical security administration including key management, surveillance systems, alarm monitoring, electronic access controls, fire safety protocols, and motor vehicle inspection procedures • Conduct regular security evaluations and assessments at client sites, ensuring all security equipment is properly maintained and functioning optimally • Identify current and future security needs, providing data-driven recommendations for process improvements and operational enhancements • Design and implement systems and processes that support business growth and enable new service opportunities • Support the recruitment and selection process for security operatives in alignment with organizational policies and compliance standards • Coordinate the strategic deployment and redeployment of security operatives based on client requirements and operational demands • Maintain and develop professional networks with clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to identify and pursue new business opportunities • Ensure clear communication with teams across all client sites within the region with clear feedback to management as required.

Requirements

•A Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in relevant field from an accredited University. •Proven experience of a minimum of 5 years as an operations manager within the security services industry or related field •Professional Qualifications - Master’s in Business Administration, Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Certifications in Security Management Systems • Excellent knowledge of physical security systems including surveillance, access control, alarm monitoring, and fire safety protocols • Demonstrated ability to conduct security assessments and develop strategic recommendations for operational improvements • Excellent leadership skills with experience managing recruitment, training, and deployment of security personnel • Business development acumen with ability to identify opportunities and build professional networks • Exceptional organizational and coordination abilities to manage multiple client sites simultaneously • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with ability to engage stakeholders at all levels • Experience developing standard operating procedures and compliance frameworks Benefits: • Opportunity to shape security operations across diverse client portfolios in Lagos • Professional development in a growing security services organization • Collaborative work environment with leadership visibility • Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience
